Streptomycin sulfate.
Indications/Uses
Tuberculosis and other Streptomycin-indicated infections.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Tuberculosis: 750 mg daily 3 times/week or 1.5 g 2 times/week.
Acute Infections: 1-2 g daily.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to other aminoglycosides.
Special Precautions
Renal and hepatic impairment.
Use in pregnancy & lactation: Caution is recommended when administering Streptomycin Sulphate Meiji to pregnant and lactating women.
Use in the elderly: Caution is advised in the use of Streptomycin Sulphate Meiji to elderly, and patients with poor oral and parenteral nutrition.

Adverse Reactions
Ototoxicity, nephrotoxicity, shock, vitamin K and vitamin B deficiency, Stevens-Johnson syndrome.
